We hope this endless striving, to be good partners, daughters, mothers, employees, and friends, will make us feel better. But instead it leaves us in pieces. Underwhelmed, overwhelmed, lost, confused, stuck. We need to think about where this endless quest leaves us.

Look inside, not outside for answers. She talks about the triumphs associated with finding your identity and claiming it for yourself. Doyle explores different ways that she experienced freedom and started to feel empowered by her decisions in life.

Being human is hard and we can do hard things. Challenging yourself, your assumptions and beliefs will be a hard but rewarding route.

This book shares Glennon's story navigating divorce and forming a new blended family, discovering the true wholeness of a family and everyone's individual ability to bring their full selves to the table.
